DeathbedFood On Robertson
I equate having a food blog to life. I laugh. I cry. I pull my hair out. But, sometimes, I kiss the ground I’m standing on because of it. This happened the other day when I discovered a new-to-me restaurant on Robertson, Cuvee, who hosted me for dinner.
It’s a good day when you have DeathbedFood, food so good you could die happy at the first bite. Cuvee’s dinner menu is loaded with it. Burrata Salad that should be on display at MOMA. Pesto, I’m sure a deadly sin. Lake Superior Whitefish inspiring plans to move to Michigan’s UP. Wild Mushroom Rigatoni with Truffle Essence, the most refined Mac & Cheese ever (and I know my Mac & Cheese.) And steak. Peppercorn Crusted Wagyu that’s the best in LA.
If you think it’s worth going to Cuvee just for the food, you’re right. But wait! There’s more. COMING UP: See why Cuvee’s ambiance may just make you their Norm from Cheers.
