I never thought I’d have a cooking blog but it’s looking like it might go that way. I’ve done a pandemic pivot from on-the-scene bar bellying to sock-clad cooking and baking. I made my Nana’s chocolate chip cake because it’s guaranteed to counter the non-stop bad news of our days.
Mini chocolate chips plus cream cheese make it DeathbedFood. It’s a really easy to make cake that you cannot mess up! And you don’t need a fancy oven. My mom says her 30-year-old GE oven works wonders for this cake.
Good for those la-di-da people with their Wolf‘s. I’m happy with my GE.
