What’s your favorite time of year? I know many of you will say this time, spring. Longer days! Warmer temps! Tulips! Not me. I say fall. Shorter days! Cooler temps! Holidays! My birthday! Perhaps most of all, pumpkin pie!!!
While pumpkin desserts hibernate most of the year, they come out full force in fall. Starbucks PSL, anyone?
What the HoHo? Why do we keep pumpkin and treats like scrumptious pumpkin pie under wraps until the holidays near?
Forget following the masses who so glibly relegate pumpkin to a few measly months a year.

My go-to recipe is Libby’s Famous Pumpkin Pie. I make it about once a week these days because I can whip up the ingredients in 10 minutes, bake it for 50, and I’m good to go.
