Gets Me To Drink More Water.
I don’t drink enough water. Apparently I don’t care that adequate water consumption is vital for my health and, more vainly, for beautiful skin. So when Shantiva contacted me about the benefits of drinking water from a copper pitcher, I was intrigued.
While I knew drinking water is one of the best and easiest ways to improve my health, I didn’t know that drinking water from a copper pitcher is even better.
A copper pitcher imbues water with the important mineral which enables the body to form red blood cells thereby helping with a variety of elements vital to our health: healthy bones, blood vessels, nerves, immune function and iron absorption – perhaps even helps prevent cardiovascular disease and osteoporosis. Copper cannot be produced within the body and needs to be sourced from external sources.
I’ve been using the pitcher for a couple of weeks and I am drinking more water. I suspect my newfound fondness for H2O is more emotionally than logically driven. I’ve found a new channel for entertainment. The shiny copper is an oasis in my otherwise drab, sparsely populated refrigerator. Pouring water into a glass feels like a celebration almost on par with watching bubbly fill a champagne glass.
I’ve also gained a sense of accomplishment. Drinking more water has started positive momentum translating to my tackling other bad habits like eating too much DeathbedFood.
Shantiva says the sparkling copper will patina. Personally, I fancy patina as it shows character kind of like people do as they age. However, if you don’t, they provide helpful tips to get your copper back to shiny as new.
Tweet me @DeathbedFood if you get one. I’d love to know if it helps you to drink more water too.
