Starbucks Needs Real Community Again
Today, at my neighborhood Starbucks, I came across a treat to go with my espresso: an exhibit of art from a local elementary school. This reminded me of what Starbucks intended to be in the first place … community-oriented, warm and inviting. The program is called ARTSHARE as they describe:
ARTSHARE is a voluntary, arts enrichment program that encourages children to use their imagination and creativity to reflect upon a theme. This year’s theme was ‘The Artful Me’ … thanks to Starbucks for graciously hosting a community gallery to allow students to share their vision with our neighborhood!
