Talk At Google: The RAMON RISING Film

September 11, 2017 by Diane Wagner

You’ll Want to Share This Talk At Google.

You know I love DeathbedFood but did you know I’m a filmmaker? I’m executive producer of a documentary in production called RAMON RISING – the story of an abandoned boy who became a pediatrician. This is the most important and inspiring story anyone will hear. My mission is to raise awareness for this project so masses of people may see the film.

One way we do this is through inspirational speaking events where Dr. Resa and the filmmakers share clips of the film and discuss why it is imperative to complete and distribute the film ASAP.

Recently, we did our first Talk at Google called “RAMON RISING: Ramon Resa MD’s Journey from Abandoned Boy to Doctor”. Talks at Google invites some of the world’s most influential thinkers, creators, makers and doers to talk about their work, their lives and what drives them to shape our world. We were invited to share this story because of its universal inspirational message of the indomitable human spirit.

And, yes, I asked him about food. Watch his take on eating vegetables – I guarantee you’ve never heard a doctor say this about them!

If you believe as we do that all kids deserve a chance to pursue the American Dream, the right to higher education, the right to be treated equally and with dignity, please:

Together, to borrow a phrase from Dolores Huerta (and Barack Obama):

“Si, se pueda!” (“Yes, we can!”)
